Comments: Here is how I fit in. My Gr Gr Grandfather was James Story Holt b. 1836 d. Jan. 1863 from Soouthampton Country, Virginia, USA. He married Sarah Rebecca Lamb, also from Southampton County, Virginia, USA. They had at least one son and one daughter, Leander Osmore Holt and Effie J. Holt, respectively. Effie married Thomas Penn Newsome, and they had my grandfather, Charles Avent Newsome. Charles married Rosa Nell Leneave and they had Donald A. Newsome and Dorothy Holt Newsome (my mother).
