Comments: I'm The Past Commander of American Legion Post 79 , Yarnell Arizona. I worked for and was the representitive for the Nicolia Joffe Corp. which dismantled the USS Arlington (USS Saipan) . I was onboard the Foss Tug which towed the USS Arlington from Bremerton Washington to Richmond California. This was the USS Arlington's last voyage. When The Arlington docked in Richmond at the old Kaiser Yard I was able to go through the entire ship as at that time I was in charge of removing usable equipment.
