It was of my grandfather, William S. Murphy of Murphy Bottom, Pike County, KY and I remember thinking that it was a teepee behind him. Aunt Ella said he was a member of The Red Men of America. He was born in 1889 and lived in the Belfry, Pike County, KY area. Is there any way that I could verify his membership or find that photograph? Or is there any way I could research this? It state that a white dove was liberated over the grave of N.H. Bech (a brother of my grandfather and was born on 9 Mar 1870. Nearly 200 chiefs walked in the procession to the cemetary. Chief W. H.
