I do believe these people to be direct relatives to me.I was ready to give up my search when finding that most records pertaining to my Irish born people have burned not only in Ireland, but Ellis Island, and near me here in Pennsylvania. The maiden name of Catherine was the part that has me quite eager to hear from you, my father had just mentioned a relative with that name but could not elaborate much. It is a fact that one Michael E. McGanns, from Roscommon, which my grandfather told my father was "a good county to be *from*. :-) U.S. family plot is in Mount Calvary, in Roxbury. (Just down the hill from Mayor Curley's ;-). Family business was T.F. McGann and Sons Bronze Factory in Somerville. Family lived in Somerville,too. Bldg. still there, now a home and art gallery; old family home still lovingly cared for.
