Hi, My name is Regina, I am also a homeschooling mom. Just happened up on your site looking at chickens!!! Your site was very interesting. I liked reading it and I liked looking at your pictures. The story of your grandma reminded me of one of my own. She is also gone to be with the Lord. I miss her a lot. She was one of the save everything and pinch till it hurts people, but we thought she was wonderful, because if she didn't have something she would make it. I am also a messy. I try real hard but I am like you, I have other things I like to do better than cleaning. Since my older son is home now we do better. We schedule out chores everyday, although we don't always accomplish everything. Our homeschool program had a schedule that I put on my refrigerater and we try to do it if we can. I also have a small business that I just started my back yard. I am an artist and I do sewing and floral arrangements. My youngest son ( I have 2 sons also) comes to the building with me that is where he does his schooling everyday. We live pretty simple lives. We mostly stay at home, go to church, go to town about once a week and visit my parents and great-grandmother when we can. I like the simple life, although my youngest gets bored easily. I think the reason I enjoyed your web site so much is you sound a lot like us, we do everything we can to spend as much time as we can together and I stay here with the boys. Home school has made a tremendous difference in our kids (even though they were good kids anyway), but spiritually we have seen the difference in them. It is a shame the whole world don't realize that money is not the most important thing...family is. I hope to have a web-site before long to show my art work and have it for sale by order.
