I have found Jill to be very helpful and patient as we develop our understanding of keeping chickens and ducks. We asked around our neighbours and as no one claimed her, we let her in. She is a big bird, very friendly and both us and our resident hens took an instant liking to her. About 2 weeks ago she started to lay, blue-green eggs. What a lovely surprise. No one seemed to know what breed she was until I found your site and we have decided she must be a cream legbar. She is very happy, healthy and a pleasure to have around. Today we introduced 4 21 week old Rhodes and she has accepted them with no problems.
