Comments: We live near Lake Lavon off 380, Dallas area, TX...And I am just so glad to see a site where plants and birds do well together. Just bought 26 guineas and 26 rare chicks hatched July 21, 2004. Ed is busy building the hen house so we are moving them outside today, hurray! We had an unusually large amount of rain this summer, the veggie garden did well, and with guineas shouldn't have to be concerned w/ grasshoppers. Just don't like the artificial pesticides, etc. Using Buster the 3 yr old's (gelding) fertilizer didn't work well, hence Johnson grass weeds everywhere. Next year plan to have geese do the weeding. Have you had geese? It may be too late to get just hatched goslings as it is Saturday, August 14th. Time here to plant broccoli the pack says. I'm rambling and giving too much info, but I sure do like your site and will refer to you again. Thanks!
