I was looking to find what breeds my chickens are, I originally purchased two young hens although they turned out to be two very handsome cockerels. Just like the Kelloggs one, I was told they were Welsomers. The seller then gave me two black rock hens to make up for my lack of eggs of course one of them turned out to be yet another cockerel. At least the two ducks turned out to be female they lay lovely blue eggs every morning I believe they are Indian runner crosses .The black rock hen lays a lovely brown egg two out of three mornings.
