Comments: Hi, I was looking to sell on my old Hillman Avenger Estate and came across your web page and was impressed. My car was first purchased by me in September 1973 and has been with me since then. It has been rebuilt a couple of times and has many "Race" extras fitted and lots of new parts not as yet used. ENGINE is a modded 1500cc lump to the highest spec using Comp parts as I used to work with the Chrysler comps dept in Coventry and has one of the few FG racing spoilers fitted. All parts tuftrided and still to polish before refit and much more besides, all as a complete package!!!!. Unused head, comp rad, couple of spare gearboxes etc etc: The cars has not been out for a good few years and is garaged, many of the engine and parts ready to be put back in, as never fitted after last development programme, has pepperpot alloys, bucket seats, twin dellorto's & webbers!!! but needs rebuilding. Comments: Hi, I had an urge to look up Yealmpton having researched my family tree some time ago when computers and the internet where not that common. My ancestors lived in Yealmpton, William Crispin(1777-1854) was one of the village tailors. His sons John and William left and went to Liverpool where John married and stayed but william returned to Plymouth. My family line continued in Liverpool until more recent times. Interested to learn about Yealmpton and have gone back further with the Crispin family line to William's father Edmund who was is described in documents as a teacher of poor boys and a shoemaker. He hit hard times in later life as in the records of the village he called upon the parish for assistance being given quanties of meat etc. Very interesting. Thanks for re igniting my hobby. Must find time to take it up again and do more.
