Comments: The first New car I received was a Plymouth Cricket, I was 17 at the time. I had looked at the Chevy Vega and liked it's styling but I did not trust an aluminum engine block without steel cylinder sleeves. I could imagine the hard carbon steel piston rings scraping the cylinder walls. Plus two of the Vega hatchbacks on the dealers lot had rust bubbles forming on the C pillar. The Pinto did not intrest me at all. I should have bought (or asked for) a Gremlin. In one year my Cricket was in the shop for nine weeks, once waiting for a new engine after the original threw a rod while crusing at 60 MPH in top gear. Endless problems with gas pedal mounts (plastic) and the A/C never working correctly. I finally traded it for a 1969 Impala convertable that never gave me any trouble, bought a new 1973 Camaro LT, probably one of the best cars I had. I found the US product manual through: http://www.us.onkyo.com/own_manuals.cfm More specificly: http://www.us.onkyo.com/own_manuals.cfm?StartRow=41&cat=Receiver I don't know if there are any significant product differences between US and European versions that would be reflected in the manual. Hey, nice photo of what looks like your yard and garden! You mention your Celica. I have a Toyota Corolla GTX of the same vintage. It's a bit worn, but is still fun to drive. I guess it's a popular car with the hoodlums around Seattle, as it was stolen last year. Fortunately, it was found in decent condition a few hundred miles South in Oregon, so I'm still driving it.
