They were in Vincent in April of 1860 where their second son, Patrick Joseph was born. They were Irish-Catholic so I would like to find out what is the nearest Catholic church to Vincent that would have been in existence in 1860. If you happen to know, I would appreciate a note to my email. I really enjoy learning of the history of the different places where my ancestors lived. It's as close to a time machine as were going to get and it gives us some idea what their lives must have been like. Your page has given me a lot of insight to their time in Iowa. The adventures me and Larry McBride would embark on or the football games we played in the church yard. Our gang Larry McBride, Donny Peart, Tony Johnson, Terry Beich, Mark Brown, Tom Henry Kim Corey, and Cheri Chalstrom. I'm thankful for the nurturing of Don and Tiny growing up and my second parents Gene and Virginia McBride who probly saw me more growing up than my own parents. I am thankful to my own parents insightfulness to raise there three children in such a community. My childhood memories of growing up in Coalville Iowa are my most treasured. I would love to attend a reunion if there ever is one. My personal opinion is that the smaller communites are really the Giants that made and keep this country great. Other communities I have visited are Port Austin MI. Van Wert OH. Millerton N.Y.
