Comments: To all members of the Cabot Association or those who had loved ones who served aboard the Cabot, a plastic, 1/350th scale model of a CVL Class aircraft carrier has been released by Dragon Models.I purchased 2 and am presently working on it for a former crew member. It's pretty good sized, around 20" in overall length. It's a bit of an involved project, but it's been a long time in coming to have this class ship made into a model in this scale. Comments: My father, Boyd L. Schuck, served on the Iron Woman in WWII. Comments: My great uncle Lloyd Martin served on the Cabot. He was killed in the spring or summer of 1945. Anyone with any further information on his service, please contact me at the email address listed. My grandfather told me stories of his brother but he passed away in 1981. I have Lloyd's letters he wrote home but he didn't mention much of what he was doing.
