He passed away in 1964 and I never got to speak to him about his experiences at a time I could understand. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who remembers him. How good do you think this site is: Well Done!!! Comments: My uncle, J.W. "Jack" Foley was a pilot on the Cabot flying an F6F during WWII. Regretably he has now passed and try as we might he would not talk about his experiences ... so I know very little. Don't know his tour dates or air group. Not sure he ever got in or on another airplane after he went to Galveston as an instuctor. Time is short for these heros so am just sending a feeler for anyone that may have information.
