How good do you think this site is: Looks great! Comments: Thank you for a great site. It is an inspiration to me as I have only this year begun some preliminary research into my own family history. Last weekend, my wife Susanne Wallis (of Palmerston North) and I visited Gabriel's Gully where the NZ goldrush was triggered. My gt grandmother, whom I remember as a small boy in the late 1950's, along with her twin sister were the first twins born there. They were Greenwoods. I am at the beginning stage of reseraching the Greenwood family of origin although I'm having some difficulty in locating marriage records of the twins' parents, William and Ruth Greenwood (Ruth's maiden name was Sutcliffe). I wonder if they married on ship and it wasn't registered? Again, thanks for a great site. By the way, I see that there are some Staites in your family. My grandmother, daughter of Hannah Greenwood (one of the twins I told you about) married a Staite, hence the introduction of Staite into the Greenwood line. I would be very pleased if you could make contact. My grandfather was Robert Ryman Groves' brother, Hector Clarence Groves and my father was Victor Clarence Arthur. I believe my father made contact with Bernice in the later years before he died. I was very interested in the number of Groves family listed and would like to know how they are all related.
