Comments: Researching my Donegal ancestrial roots - John McCullough and his wife Jane (Underwood) came with their children to the U.S. in 1792 - the family settled in Washington Co., Pennsylvania before moving to Jefferson Co. and later Tuscarawas Co, Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Comments: Mc Connellogue family lived in Doon Glebe, Glenswilly. My Great Grandparents were John Mc Connellogue and Alice Doherty. Johns parents were John and Joanna and Alice parents were Rose and Patrick Doherty. Cannot find any information about this generation. It is believed that Rose Doherty worked as a housekeeper for Bishop O' Donnell at Saint Eunans in Letterkenny. Any info would be greatly welcomed.

Comments: I am searching for the McKendrick and Bonar families in Donegal, in the townlands of Windy Hall, Glencar, and Killylastin. My earliest record is for the birth of Daniel McKendrick on Jan 1 1865 in Windy Hall to James McKendrick and Sarah Ann Bonar. I am hoping to find more info on the families and how they connect to other McKendricks and Bonars in the same area.

Comments: I have been looking for the grave of Fr Hugh Monaghan for a number of years now and it was merely by chance on an off moment I pumped in his name to Google and up came your site and his stone there. I had gotten his death notice from Derry Journal many years ago and it also had report of his funeral, stating that he was to be buried in Ballybogan graveyard. I set sail that week along with my young daughter to see this Ballybogan never realising how badly overgrown it would turn out to be. Had to go through a field to get anywhere near it but it was mission impossible, so I gave up. I wrote to parish of Murlog to enquire if there was to be any cleanup done on the site but they simply referred me to F.A.S. Ballybofey. I wrote to them but never recieved a reply, that's where my story ends in the quest for Fr. Monaghans grave. That is until today. Are you aware that there is a large marble plaque to him in Long Tower Church, Derry. I take it that the graveyard is now well cleared of growth, so I intend visiting it as soon as possible.

Comments: Have spent many hours searching for information re my ancestors. Mulvaney/ Duffy. Because Mulvaney seemed a less common name, I have concentrated on that. However cannot get beyond 1860 US census. Obviously the destruction of records in 1022 in the factor. I did think your website is more user friendly than most and appreciate the diligence in entering information. I did find a James Mulvaney in the Griffiths Valuation record;county Donnegal, parish Tullaghobegly, but nothing else for Mulvaneys. Hope you are recovering and would welcome any guidance you can offer.
Nosey aren't I?: No, I like being able to communicate w/ someone
