I tried to email you through your 'contact me link' but it tries to open 'Microsoft Outlook', but I'm on TalkTalk and it won't open for me. Theres a gap of 32 years on the St Columba's Drumoghill information, and I'm trying to get information on my Grandfather and his parents, but there's nothing for the period 1868-1900. The parish priest there tried to get me info but he also left out those years. I don't know if those records exist, but it would be great to get access to them. Freat Site. I came looking for a John Hewitt born around 1770 in the Lifford area he joined Wolf Tone in the rising and left for France after the defeat.He was in the French invasion and occupation of Egypt where he had a son borne in 1799 ,it is from this son that I am descended,I would love to find out more on John and the area he came from.
